Without Subscribers, Misinformation Cannot Spread

Fans reaction to the latest season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has been divisive, to say the least. With many fans dropping the service immediately after viewing the season’s end, parent company Paramount / Skydance has issued a response addressing fans frustrations apologizing for all the fascist undertones. The company that fired Emmy Award winner Stephen Colbert, and is building a media misinformation monopoly, now says season four will be made better by adding fascist overtones.

Signs of the Time

While I have depicted Uhura using American Sign Language, she would more likely know Kenyan Sign Language (KSL) as it is the natural sign language of the deaf community in Kenya and Somalia and is distinct from other sign languages like American Sign Language (ASL). KSL has its own unique grammar, vocabulary, and structure, using hand shapes, movements, and facial expressions to convey meaning. The Kenyan Sign Language Act (KSL Act) recognizes KSL as an official language of Kenya, supporting its role in education and community life.
