It's That Time Again

  • * Time to re-watch our favorite tv series and / or movie to manage our crimpling anxiety?

  • * Time to stare into the middle distance while we watch the world slip further and further into authoritarianism?

  • * Time to make fun of corporations for colluding with fascists?

Close! It's Comic-con week!

[APPLAUSE]

Yes, Comic-con, the ancestral spawning grounds for nerds around the globe will be welcoming hundreds of thousands of attendees this weekend. All eagerly anticipating the latest news about their favorite television shows and movies. Our diligent staff here at The Orion intercepted... found? Yeah, we found the News. It was just lying on the street. Must have fallen out of some passing news helicopter, and we have the inside scoop!

Paramount will be hosting several Star Trek panels and we have the inside scoop on their event schedule:

  • Saturday, July 26, 8:30 - 9:30 AM PT, Hall H:
Discussion on the latest season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

  • Saturday, July 26, 10:00 - 11:00 AM PT, Hall H:
Discussion of the newest Star Trek projects, including "first looks" at their newest shows like Starfleet Academy.

  • Saturday, July 26, 11:30 - 12:30 PM PT, Hall H:
Discussion of the cancellation of the newest Star Trek projects, including "only looks" at their newest shows like Starfleet Academy.

  • Saturday, July 26, 1:00 - 2:00 PM PT Hall H:
Why Disney's success with Star Wars and the cratering Paramount+ subscriptions are the fans' fault.

  • Saturday, July 26, 2:30 - 3:30 PM PT Hall H:
Discussion on the merits of political boot-licking and capitulation for political favors. Including an in-depth panel on body bronzer and how to suppress the gag reflex.

  • Saturday, July 26, 4:30 - 7:30 PM PT Hall H:
Discussion on the future of Star Trek including but not limited to a complete reboot of every Star Trek TV series from The Original Series to Strange New Worlds, reimagined without all that inclusivity and equality. You know, like having people of color and all that icky gay shit. The panel will conclude with a deep-dive on all the episodes containing nazis; focusing on them as the heroes of said episodes and include a Q & A with the Q portion removed from the program.

  • Sunday, July 27, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM CT Artist Alley
Paramount lawyers will be walking the floor issuing Cease and Desists to all venders selling independent Star Trek fan art.

Sounds like an exciting time! Hope to not see you there!

Subspace Wrap-up!

Greetings and Salutations,

I’m introducing a new section to the site - Subspace Wrap-up! I realize I post a lot of content on my socials which means many things can be missed. My spies… I mean, my informantsfans of this site deserve to be kept abreast of my many machinations. So, rather than searching through my mad, rambling posts, or all the way to the bottom of the Gallery I’ll post the new stuff here. Like most of my endeavors, this will be a work-in-progress. As always, thank you for your support.

Be excellent to each other,

~The Orion

UPDATES!

  • New Test Prints were ordered and they were supposed to have been here last Friday, but they’re stuck somewhere in Texas. As soon as they come in, I’ll post about them, and hopefully, we can get part of this shop off the ground. Fingers Crossed!
